A special event celebrating the International Day of People with Disabilities through the vibrant world of arts. This showcase will highlight the incredible talent and creativity within our diverse community.
The Shine Showcase offers a unique platform to highlight and honour the artistic talents of individuals with disabilities. To honour the purpose of this event, we kindly ask that all performers identify as having a disability. This ensures the focus remains on amplifying the voices and talents of people with disabilities, giving them the recognition and celebration they truly deserve. Whether you’re a dancer, musician, visual artist, or performer of any kind, we invite you to join us and shine on stage! Together, we’ll create a powerful celebration of inclusivity and artistic expression.
Calling All Creatives!
Stars Within is thrilled to announce the first Shine Showcase! A special event celebrating the International Day of People with Disabilities. We’re inviting performers of all ages and abilities to apply and be part of this inspiring event. Whether you’re a dancer, musician, actor, poet, or have another creative talent, we’d love to see you shine on stage!
Whether you are a dancer, singer, magician, actor, musician, or anything absolutely spectacular, we want to showcase YOUR talent!
If you’d like to be involved, please send your application, including a brief description of your performance and a 2-5 minute video to be reviewed by our organiser, Miss Vanessa! Miss Vanessa will then schedule a time to have a virtual meeting to discuss your performance details and get you prepped for the stage!
Here’s how to get involved
Step 1: Complete the Performer Application
Let us get to know you! This form contains questions about the performer. You will need to submit a 2-5 minute video of your proposed performance. Show us what you got! Once completed, move to the next step!
Step 2: Book a time to meet with Miss Vanessa
Miss Vanessa will watch and be blown away by each performance. She will then get in touch with you and schedule a time to meet with you to discuss your performance and get the finer details of your performance, prepare you for performance day and lastly get you on stage!
P.S Make sure to triple check the performer details on your Application to make sure Miss Vanessa can get in touch with you!
Step 3: Perform at The Shine Showcase!
All done! All that’s left now is to showcase your amazing talents on Stage! We are all so excited to see your amazing talents be broadcasted to the community!
