Miss Vanessa

With her passion for dance and inclusion, Vanessa has always loved working and mentoring individuals with diverse needs and abilities. Vanessa has 20 years of personal experience with disability, having an older brother with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is a strong advocate in the disability community and is passionate about inclusion, equal rights and creating more opportunities for people with disabilities to be involved.

Vanessa is a certified instructor of the Rhythm Works Integrative Dance Program and Perform-Ability Program, had training in the Glenn Wood Tap Syllabus, and is now currently completing a Bachelor of Primary Education with a Specialty in Special Education at the Australian Catholic University, in aims to spread her love of teaching and education amongst an array of diverse students.

Dancing since age 3 with extensive training in a variety of dance styles such as tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, and acrobatics, Vanessa is grateful to be able to share her love for dancing and contribute to inclusion in a variety of sectors, especially the dance world.
