“Behind every dancer who believes in themselves is a teacher who believed in them first”

Vanessa has over 20 years of personal experience with disability, having an older brother with Autism Spectrum Disorder. She is a strong advocate in the disability community and is passionate about inclusion, equal rights and creating more opportunities for people with disabilities.

Naturally, Vanessa holds a Primary and Special Education teaching degree and has completed further professional development in the dance space. Dancing since age 3 with extensive training in a variety of dance styles such as tap, jazz, hip-hop, ballet, and acrobatics, Vanessa is grateful to be able to share her love for dancing and contribute to inclusion in a variety of sectors, especially the dance world.
